The Public Works Department of the City of Lakeway is responsible for routine maintenance of all public streets within the city limits of Lakeway with the exception of Ranch to Market Road 620, which is under the jurisdiction of the Texas Department of Transportation.
Services offered by the Public Works Department include:
- Minor street pot hole and shoulder repair
- Maintenance and repair of street and traffic control signs
- Mowing and maintenance of street medians and irrigation systems in medians
- Maintenance of street drainage systems including drainage culverts under city streets
- Administer contract repairs made to city streets
- Debris and dead animal removal from city streets
