City Park is a waterfront parkland that was acquired in 1992. The park is located at 502 Hurst Creek Road and can be reached by water from Hurst Creek Cove on Lake Travis.

City Park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. during Daylight Saving Time and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. during Standard Time.
Amenities
There are many things to do at City Park. With nearly two miles of trails, there is plenty of room for everyone from leisurely walkers to vigorous joggers and kids on bicycles or roller blades. Even our furry friends have a park of their own, the Bark Park.
City Park is a great place for several different water activities; swimming, fishing, and kayaking are popular. Please remember to swim only in designated swim areas, there are no lifeguards on duty. There is a life jacket loaner station at the lower level picnic area for your convenience.
City Park offers two different play areas. The playscape by the main entrance is designed for toddlers, ages 2 - 5. There is a play area near the lower level for school-aged children. Sports enthusiasts also may enjoy a game of basketball, sand volleyball, or baseball. Enjoy a scenic stroll by the butterfly garden, wildflower meadow, and carpets of bluebonnets.
City Park offers a covered pavilion on the upper level near the entrance with picnic tables and a large grill with additional lower area picnic tables and a large grill that may be reserved. View our Reservation Policy. Reservations must be made a full 48 hrs or two full business days in advance. Reservations are not available on federal holidays.
